Another Wonderful Weekend.

I know I only post pictures from our weekends, but that is really the only time we do stuff! This last weekend was pretty low key, but also a lot of fun.
Friday: School. Returning gifts. T- basketball, K- crafts. Jazz Game. Cookies. Pizza. Flash Forward. Sleep. Success!
Saturday: Niece's soccer game. Snow-cones. Shopping (coffee table, bookcase, kitchen things, AND cotton candy machine-- you bet)! Olive Garden. Cotton candy making. Home. Sleep.
Sunday: Niece's blessing. Family. Food. Naps. More family time. Home. Homework/Internet. Sleep.

I have some photos of our cotton candy machine and Baby Anna below-- check it.

We only have two weeks of school left. One week of classes, one week of finals. Then it's S-U-M-M-E-R! Hallelujah! We were discussing our summer plans and they include: family reunion, trips to Springville, Tony Grove, camping, and Hawaii. I can't wait. Bring on the warm weather, skirts, more snow-cones, spending times outdoors and photographing every single minute of it. :)

The newest addition to our family-- the cotton candy machine!
Isabel the Unicorn.
T and some cotton candy.
Brooks, cotton candy and a Barbie movie-- what could be better.
Isabel eating cotton candy.
Jordan making some cotton candy-- the master.
Then Brooklyn put on her dance costume, so cute.

life as of lately.

Well friends.
lately we've been up to this:
SCHOOL. work. SCHOOL. eating. SCHOOL. sleeping. SCHOOL. homework. SCHOOL SCHOOL. dreaming of summer. SCHOOL. preparing for finals. SCHOOL. and a little bit of fun squeezed in there as well. mostly on the weekends. or trying to have fun while writing 14 page papers (k) and reading income tax planning text books (t-- definitely not k). amongst the fun is going to the anniversary inn/chili's date and rolling some easter eggs/getting our first snow-cone of the season.
DON'T YOU WORRY... i have documented each of these via photographs. of course. so take a little look below and you will see, life as of lately for the Perkes (minus pictures of school, what we spend most of our time doing).

Fire.

This weekend we had a little bonfire in Tyson's parent's backyard. It was the perfect way to kick off the warm weather season! It made me so excited to go camping, be done with school and just spend time with family and friends! We had tin foil dinners and some delicious peach cobbler made by Jordan (correction: Chef Jordan). It was fun to just sit around the fire and chat with each other. Except for smoke in the lungs-- that part was not fun. My camera did smell somewhat like smoke after this, but it was worth it! The lighting was really great and I love documenting fun things like this.

Enjoy! :)

Photo Blog.

If you haven't yet, check out Katie's new photo blog here.
I've been posting old shoots I've done, just preparing for new ones. :)

I have a couple in the next few weeks, so be sure to check in and see the photos.

Thanks friends! I promise I will post more about our married life soon. We've been REAL busy with school overtaking over lives. Finals are approaching, blah. The only good thing about that is the semester is nearly over!

Bring on summer-- please!

That's all for now. Stay tuned. Things WILL get more exciting. That's a guarantee. :)

Senioritis.

{Senior photos taken of one of my BFF's Witney last year}.

Here's the thing.
I would love to take your senior pictures if you are graduating in the class of 2010. If you aren't, I am sure you know someone who is. And who wouldn't want FREE senior pictures? With a free disk of edited pictures for their using. Honestly? I don't know who doesn't like free stuff.

Soo, if you are one of these people or know one-- let me know.
Send me an email at katieannperkes@gmail.com!

Help me help you with some lovely senior portraits.

Like the ones featured above. :)

I'm a Barbie Girl. Or Boy.

I wanted to post some pictures from the barbie jeep my mom bought for the grandkids. I was going to in the Easter post, since that's when these were taken... but there were too many good ones, that they deserved their very own post. Also, these kids kill me with their good looks and hilarious comments. I love spending time with them! Yay for nieces and nephews. Not just these five crazy cute kids, but all 15 (almost 17) of them! They lighten life like no other.

Anyway, enjoy some photos:
