Melv.

Today is my other sister's birthday! This time of year is full of birthdays in both of our families. And we just added one more in September and will be adding another in October! I say-- the more the merrier.

Happy Birthday to Melia (a.k.a. Melvin-- my nickname for her that she just loves so much).

You could say Melia & I are partners:
On family vacations we were each others "spouses" (before I got married, obviously).
We are both the "even" sisters-- 2 & 4.
We both went to Utah State and are Aggies for life.
Melia even once told me she wanted to marry someone who was just like me (but male, of course).

Any of you who know Mel know she's one of the happiest and kindest people you'll meet!

I'm so glad she's one of my sisters and best friends!
Happy B-day Melv!

CV.

I know it's now Wednesday, but I started this post on Monday. Therefore I'm still going to post it, even though we are closer to the next weekend than the last...

We had a lovely weekend spent up in our favorite little valley (a.k.a-- Cache Valley).

We spent time with family.
I went to the Farmer's Market.
T played football.
Ate at our favorite Logan sushi spot.
Watched some more football-- including attending a disappointing Utah State game.
Played with baby bunnies.
Relaxed.
Made my favorite dessert-- Peach Delight.

And cuddled this little guy as much as we could! Our newest little nephew, Baby Keaton.

It's so fun to have a newborn around again.
It makes me very anxious for our little niece to get here (she's due to be here in two weeks, but I'm hoping she makes an early appearance).

We love the weekends-- who doesn't? We're looking forward to this next weekend. BYU vs. USU game, time in Springville, General Conference and hopefully a fall drive to see all the pretty changing colors! Yep. This is a super time of year.

Falling.

We went on our first official fall bike/long-board ride down our favorite Jordan River Trail last night.

Tyson dancing on the long-board.
Me taking one hundred pictures and Tyson checking "the scores" while I do. He's a trooper!
Out enjoying the crisp, beautiful weather together.
Tyson singing "Hold me, like the river Jordan" every time we're on the trail.
Racing along side of each other, sometimes holding hands (precious, I know).

Off to the trail we go!
 Sunflower plus Tyson.
Oh how he loves me taking pictures of him. Right T?
We are in love, indeed.
His signature dance move. I love this photo!
The infamous "checking the score."
Such a beautiful trail! Especially in the evening.
And of course, the Jordan River.

I also spent a little time yesterday compiling a "fall" playlist. It has lots and lots of songs, but I'll list my favorites:
Hold You in My Arms-- Ray LaMontagne
See the Good-- Mindy Gledhill
You Make It Real-- James Morrison
Skinny Love-- Birdy
Corner-- Allie Moss
One Day-- Matisyahu
Under the Weather-- KT Tunstall
What I Wouldn't Do- A Fine Frenzy
Sort Of-- Ingrid Michaelson
Upward Over The Mountain-- Iron & Wine
Duet-- Rachel Yamagata
Wanted-- Joshua Radin
Colby's Song-- Joshua James
Orange Sky-- Alexi Murdoch

Good, good songs that put me in the mood for the autumn season.
Along with bike rides and five thousand pictures of ourselves.
I promise we aren't vain.
I just want to remember us as we are, right now at this phase in our life.

Sister's Birthday.

Today is my sister's birthday!

We may be 5-1/2 years apart.
I may have stolen her clothes.
She may have bossed me around.

But now she's one of my best friends!

Happy Birthday Ali! Hope you had a great birthday in Arkansas and can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

P.S.-- sisters are the best. I've got three best girl friends for LIFE! Love it.
Not to mention my four sister-in-laws. That's a lot of life long best friends. Lucky girl, right here!

Captain.

Summer dress.
Pig-tails.
Oreo goatee.
"Driving" the houseboat (a.k.a.-- Grandma's boat).
Lake Powell.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we had a good summer.

Oh and we absolutely adore this little girlie.
She's a favorite of ours.
Obviously.

P.S.-- we're so excited. Friday we get another new nephew. And in one month, we'll have a new niece as well! And you know how much we love those n&n's of ours! Yep! So happy.

18 months.

TODAY marks 18 months of marriage for T and myself.

I can't believe our little marriage is growing up so fast.

I love that man of mine more and more every single day.

BFF.
Yep, For-ev-er.

Happy Labor Day!

A little update on our lives:

I started school again last week. This is my second to last semester! I will be done in MAY and I cannot wait. ETTE-- yes, I am Enduring To The End!

We had such a great summer. We played A LOT and loved every second. Although I will dearly miss summer, playing, water, BBQ's and hanging out-- I'm a little excited to get into a routine again.

Tyson is still working hard, always! Love that guy for all he does for us. He's a keeper! :)
We are going to keep soaking up the warm weather and any time we have together. We are loving where we live, including our ward! It'll be sad to leave this place one day... but we're enjoying it while we can.

That's basically the latest with us.
I am going to start blogging some more summer pictures soon.
So stay tuned!

Oh yeah-- fun fact: we've been married for one year and a half in a week! Yipee!
