The Time is NOW.

I was just looking at my January calendar and it's VERY colorful and VERY busy!

Time to start REALLY planning the wedding. I'm so excited and a little nervous and beginning to feel a little overwhelmed! Luckily I have an awesome Mom to help me.

Time to get planning a very HAPPY day. Crazy, but exciting!
Apartment hunting. Deciding flowers. Getting cell phones. Doctor's appointments. Hair appointments. Photo sessions. Bridal showers and showers and showers!
The list goes on and on...
I love it!
But it's going to be a crazy couple of months.

Any tips/advice are welcome. :)

March 12th, 2010.... here we come!

{NOTE: These are known as happy faces.}

Merry.

I hope you all had a very MERRY and BRIGHT Christmas!
I know mine was.
New fabulous iPod touch and 50 mm canon camera lens = a great Christmas for me.
But more importantly,
I have all my loved ones! Parents. Sisters. Brother-in-laws. Nieces. Nephews. Fiance. Future Parent-in-laws, Sister-in-laws, Brother-in-laws, Nieces and Nephews.
And of course extended family, future extended family and the best Grandparents! And future Grandparents.
:)

All that makes me a very grateful and happy girl, especially this Holiday season!

Happy Holly Days everyone!

Much love.

Oh and I'm a believer:

There is No Place Like Home for the Holidays!

Last friday, December 11th, 2009, I met a new member of my new family.
Allow me to explain:

Tyson's little brother Jordan came home from his mission! He was serving in the Salvador, Brazil mission.
Although I'd never met Jordan, it was a great to be apart of him coming home! It was a really exciting day for the Perkes family. I feel lucky to have been able to be apart of it! Definitely a happy day.

I took a few pictures while we were at the airport that I will post at the end.

It was a great day! It's fun having him home. Now I feel like he does exist, haha. The whole family being back together is great!
I am sure that my future mother-in-law and father-in-law are really happy to have all their children home and close by, especially during this holiday season.

It is the most wonderful time of the year. I love spending it with close friends and family! That is one of my favorite parts of the this holiday season-- being with those you love. It makes everything complete! So be sure to celebrate family this season, as well as the "reason for the season", which makes family possible and everlasting!

I'm excited for Tyson and I to be starting our own little family together. Although it's just going to be us two for a little while, it will still be our little family! Then one day we'll grow and grow and grow... which will be great too. But I'm excited to enjoy the time with just T and I. :)

Enjoy the pictures! And Merry Christmas my friends!
Only 8 more days. I love it!

The kids with their sign!
Little Easton
 Anxiously Waiting!
Abby! So cute.
The first hug!
Reuniting after three and a half years! Tender moment, for sure.
Tie, Hunts and Jordan embracing.
Cutest thing ever.
The Parents and Jordan
All the siblings together!
Brotherly Love

The Test of True Love

A couple of weeks ago, as I was leaned over my toilet vomiting my guts out, Tyson was right behind me--flushing down the evidence and comforting my sick as a dog self. In the midst of the ralphing, Tyson said, "You know this is true love when I can just watch you throw up and it doesn't even affect me." We sort of laughed a little about it, but then I thought, 'Wow. It really is.' I even told him no one but my momma and dad had ever seen me throw up, so he should feel privileged. I'm also sure that won't be the last time that happens...

A few days after that, T and I went to Mack Park in Smithfield to take a family photo for his sister and her family. Tyson wore this lovely outfit to the park:

Neon yellow hat, homeless jacket, church pants and snow boots.

I couldn't help but smile and chuckle when I looked at him! Not just because he looked slightly funny, but because I couldn't get enough of it. I just thought, "He's so attractive!" Seriously.
I love this boy. And all his crazy outfits. I think it's another sign of true love, personally. :)

The thing is: true love HAS been tested and we passed.
SHWEW! Good thing, because we're getting married HERE in less than 3 months.

Then I get to see this every single morning. Yayaya!

Thank goodness he's mine.

Our [Now] Undisclosed Blog.

This is us. We're in love.

Now that the secret is out about my (almost) married person blog, I better make a post.

Tyson and I are getting married in March. On the 12th, to be exact. March 12, 2010. I can hardly wait! It's just 3 months away and I have not done hardly any planning. Just loads of brainstorming! I need to get planning, because I know it will come before I know it.

Also, contrary to popular belief-- I LOVE being engaged. I know that it has its downs, but it always has its ups too!
I love going through every single stage of dating/courting with Tyson. The beginning, to getting more serious, to marriage talk, to engagement and soon to marriage! Sometimes I get a little antsy for the future, but I quickly remind myself to enjoy the present. Because this is the only time EVER we will be engaged, so we might as well love it! And I really do. Of course I'm excited to get marriaged and be a wifey and everything, but engagement is great.

I'm really excited for Christmas. I wanted to do something sort of like my gratitude posts on my last blog for Christmas. Kind of like ABC has the 25 days of Christmas. Since it's already the 8th, almost 9th, I think I will do the 12 days of Christmas (starting on the 12th). I'm not sure what this will entail quite yet, but stay tuned. I'm sure it will be GREAT and full of Merriness.

Happy Christmas to all!
