Seasons Change.

I love summer.
I love being outside enjoying nature.
I love camping.
I love Lake Powell.
I love playing with my favorite kids.
I love time spent with family.
I love living in comfy skirts and white v-necks.

I love it. I really do.

But I must admit-- there's a part of me that's ready to be home for more than four days at a time.
To have a schedule, a routine.
To have a fresh start, a new semester (my second to last-- holla!).
To start wearing tights, boots and skirts.
To see the pretty leaves changing colors.
To take pictures of lovely people (contact me about family pictures, portraits-- ahem, seniors-- and kids! I have some fall promos I'll be sharing soon)!

I love summer, but I love fall.
I'll be soaking up these last few weeks of summer and then welcoming fall with open arms. :)

P.S.-- I know I've been saying this all summer, but this time it is for reals. I have approximately five hundred pictures to show you from our summer. Or maybe a few less than five hundred. Either way, stay tuned for many, many, many pictures.

P.P.S.-- My blogs will soon have pictures again. Just so you know. I'm working on that and trying not to hold a grudge against google.

FUN aunt.

Not to brag or anything, but I can be a pretty fun aunt.

Last week my sister and her husband took their two oldest kids to Alaska. My Grandparents have a cabin up there and live there in the summer. So they went and visited them with my parents, while my other sister and I babysat the three younger kids!

My shift was the first three days.

We played in water-- at their house, at Grandma's house and at the Splash Pads in Spanish Fork.
We did a little paper mache.
We had movie nights.
We ate lunch at McDonald's.

We basically had some fun summer days! Being busy kids and I loved it.
Hopefully they did too. ;)

This is how she got out of the pool every time.
 Her funny face.
 Love this face!
This girl LOVES the splash pads.

Shun.

I've been boycotting the blog.

Let me tell you why.

It's a little thing called Google+.

I've heard it's awesome. I got an invitation. I accepted. I like it! But I'm kind of holding a grudge.

Why you ask?

Well. As I was setting up my profile, I wanted my picasa albums to be hidden on my profile. At first, I couldn't figure out how to do it. So realizing that the albums were mostly uploaded for miscellaneous non-important purposes, I just thought-- might as well just delete them.

BAD idea when I accidentally deleted the album that links to my blog-- therefore, deleting all the pictures on the blog. Yes I cried-- I was upset! I want to make this little blog bloggity into a book one day and what's a book without pictures?! So I'm going back through old posts and uploading pictures again. THANK goodness for those posts that I labeled all the photos. So far I have a good idea of what photos go where and let's hope it stays that way!

So, I'm working on erasing my grudge after accidentally erasing my pictures.

Be patient with me while I bring the blog back to life!

Oh and if anyone knows why my photos on my photo blog aren't showing up (I did NOT erase that album, so I'm confused as to why they aren't showing up)? Help?
